What products does A Little Bit of Scents supply?

At the moment we supply candles 210 g and 320 g. We also supply wax melts. We will be adding to our range so keep your eyes on our website and social media pages.

 

Is A Little Bit of Scents an Irish Company?

Yes, we are a family run Irish company. Our candles and melts are hand poured in Kildare.

 

How long do our wax melts last?

Our wax melts are supplied in a clambshell of 6. Each cube lasts at least 4 hours so you will get 24 hours minimum from each wax melt.

 

How long do our candles burn for?

Our 210 g will burn for a minimum of 30 hours and our 320 g will burn for a minimum of 50 hours. This will be longer if you follow our candle care instructions.

 

Are A Little Bit of Scents environmentally conscious?

Yes! A Little Bit of Scents was created to create more environmentally friendly candles. We use 100% sustainable natural soy wax. Our candle vessels can be recycled and repurposed. Our clamshells are 100% recyclable. All our packaging used is environmentally friendly.

 

Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils in our products?

We do not use essential oils. We use fragrance oils.

 

Are your products registered and have a UFI code?

Yes, all our products have been registered on the ECHA and all our products which are required to have UFI numbers do. These are listed on the CLP labels as required.

 

Will you candles leave black marks on the ceiling?

No. We use soy wax in our candles which is clean burning. We do recommend you trim your wick before each burn to ¼ of an inch to minimise carbon build up which creates soot.

 

Is it ok to burn your candles and melts around my pets?

Yes, it is but some fragrances are harmful to aquatic life. We would never recommend burning them around your animals.

 

Do I need to trim my wick?

Yes, always trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn to reduce carbon build up. This will also extend the life of your candle.

 

How can I get the best from my candle?

To get the maximum burn time and scent out of your candle you follow our candle care instructions. Soy candles have a memory, and the first burn is the most important so when you first light your candle let it burn for 3-4 hours or until a full melt pool has been reached. Before every burn trim your wick before you light it again.

What can I do with my jar once the candle is finished?

You can recycle your jar, or we recommend once all the wax is gone clean your jar with hot soapy water to remove and residue. You can use this for storing items such as cubes of wax melts, paint brushes the list is endless.

What is your shipping time?

We aim to dispatch in stock items within 2-4days. We use An Post to ship our parcels which usually are delivered with in two days of posting.
