Our Story

I’m Sue, founder of A Little Bit Of Scents.

The name of our brand comes from a phrase many of us in Ireland grew up hearing:

“If you only had a little bit of sense.”

It’s a phrase often spoken with care, warmth and good intention. A gentle reminder to slow down, think things through and take a moment. That simple piece of Irish wisdom became the inspiration behind our brand and remains at the heart of everything we create today.

Like many women, I spent years balancing a demanding corporate career, family life, household responsibilities and the constant pace of modern living. Life was busy, and the days often felt full from morning until night.

During those years, I came to appreciate the small things that could completely change the atmosphere of a space. Lighting a candle at the end of a long day. A familiar fragrance filling a room. Creating a home that felt warm, welcoming and comforting.

Those simple moments inspired the creation of A Little Bit Of Scents.

I wanted to create more than beautiful fragrances. I wanted to create products that bring warmth, atmosphere and a feeling of home into everyday life. Fragrances inspired by memory, emotion and the moments that matter most.

Proudly based in County Kildare, our collections are designed with care, authenticity and intention. Every fragrance tells its own story, whether inspired by the Irish landscape, cherished memories, meaningful moments or the simple comfort of home.
